Typhoon Archive is an ongoing project of moving images and data records. Drawing from personal footage, news reports, meteorological data, and social-media traces, the work extracts elements such as wind speed, rainfall, warning levels, transport suspension, school closures, and fallen trees, translating these disaster-related parameters into generative images, moving-image works, and sound.

Rather than reconstructing the factual scene of a typhoon or compiling a complete meteorological record, the project reorganizes the visual residues of a storm between personal memory, public information, and algorithmic generation. Here, the typhoon is both a weather system and a temporal structure that repeatedly enters everyday life: wind, rain, blackouts, closure, waiting, and recovery are compressed into data units that can be read, activated, and recombined.

The work asks how an individual might continue to see, remember, and imagine a storm when experience is constantly recorded by news media, platforms, and sensors.
